Italy has such beautiful countryside whenever you leave the cities that it is difficult to not shoot thousands of images and still not capture the real essence of this country. While visiting Rome, I took the Cinque Terre Bus tour and the ride to the rugged Italian Riviera was simply beautiful. This village on top of a small mountain was so picturesque that it almost didn't look real. Unfortunately, since I was in a bus going at least 60 miles an hour down a highway, I did not catch its name but none the less, was thrilled to see it perched so prettily outside my window.

This image has been digitally altered to give more of a "painterly" look which seemed to fit how I viewed this area. In a country filled with beautiful artistry, this is my rendition of its glorious views and villages.
