Artist's Description
The log cabin is a reproduction in the Goose Lake Prairie National Area located in Morris Illinois. It is an exact replica of a cabin that was on the prairie fields of Illinois in the 1800s. The wheels are what might have been on the owner's buggy those many years ago. In the background is a replica part of a windmill that the farm used to pump necessary water for the cabin, animals, and people who lived here.
