This photo was taken in Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota. Amazingly, even though the park is in the northern part of the U.S., the landscape looks a bit like Arizona during the summer. This was taken in early September when the heat was still high. This scene caught my eye because of the hot rugged rock structure leading the eye out into the cool green lands of the park, topped with the beautiful sky.
This photographer has taught herself through life to look for beauty in the smallest of things and stand in awe of nature's natural beauty. Her work reflects how she see the world on any given day. You will find color prints, textured prints, and digitally altered prints as well as prints devoid of color.
