Spring in the Everglades of Florida brings out the many different species of birds to show off their colors. This beautiful Brown Pelican donned his yellow hat with white tuffs off the back to take a stroll down the pier. At first, I thought it was a statue but soon realized it was posing for me! After I had taken several shots, the pelican plopped into the water and swam away.

This photographer has taught herself through life to look for beauty in the smallest of things and stand in awe of nature's natural beauty. Her work reflects how she see the world on any given day.
