Artist's Description
This mission church is one of the oldest continuously occupied settlements of the Southwest. Originally build in 1689 and destroyed in the flood of 1829, the community rebuilt the church, completing it in 1840 as it stands today. The Mission is located near the Rio Grande in Southwest Texas, outside El Paso.
