Just for fun, I returned to the lakefront where I had taken a photo of the two lonely lifeguard posts in late fall. Here they stand, keeping watch over the frozen beach and shoreline during the Chicago winter months. This beach is located just over the boarder of Chicago in the suburb of Evanston and is such a lonely looking one, too. Come summer, it will become vibrant and alive with activity. Enjoy
